We were able to sleep peacefully at first, but loud noises from staff washing rooms in the middle of the night disrupted our stay significantly.

I liked the swimming pool, the big bed in the room and the outside bathroom. The view was as well quite nice.
The hotel was too far from the center and didn't have free shuttle bus. The hotel was as well a bit expensive. The next time that I will go to Ubud, I would rather book in a cheaper hotel which is as well in the center.

The fine wildlife was captivating, though the pool area was often overcrowded with children.

The pool, the staff are very attentive, they're all on top of everything.
Keep in mind that the hotel is in the jungle and therefore: without the bike you depend on the transfer, the last of the Ubud goes at 15.30, which is inconvenient, so only return by taxi, although if you take the bike, there is no problem. And second, to us. Around regularly came the monkeys 7-10, they fought or just rested, the hotel also walks monkeys by the pool, at breakfast. If you're afraid of them, it'll be uncomfortable. They lived in a villa, the bath was outside under the roof, one morning they found a live snake crawling and resting there. Breakfast a la carte, a specific choice of dishes.

the tranquility and the food which was fabulous though very expensive
The hotel was a long way out of Ubud so necessitated a taxi ride to get there.

Great location and very relaxing if unwinding and doing absolutly nothing is what you want. The surrounding area with it's rice fields and temples are well worth exploring on bikes provided by the hotel. Food was nouvell Bali style and the o ne and only restaurant was a liittle expensive compared to local prices. Excursions were avalable but booked through the hotel were at a premium. However our highlight was white water rafting 12 km alongthe Ayung River and seeing the wild life on the banks - even enjoyed by my timid femal companion!

I was there before and will choose the place for future trips. Greatly enjoyed an amazing stay with stunning and incredible location in the hillside overlooking the valley and a breakfast included. Location: the hotel was just next door to the Ubud rain forest as well as the beautiful " jungle ". The room was spotless and luxurious, offered a mini bar, a safe box and a balcony.

I was enchanted by the lush garden setting, beautifully landscaped, providing tranquil pathways that were easy to navigate. The staff were attentive.
More accessible transport options for nearby dining would help.

My room was very special for the Valentine's day, an ideal honey moon venue. The food was exceptional, to my surprise...
The reception which confused about the cash payment at the check out, they should know their currency best and not rely on us foreigners and guests to point out that the amount was incorrect, I lost a bit trust in the local reception as a result.
